Love Island USA Season 7 Reunion Recap: Boring, But Let Me Save You the Time

If you thought the villa was chaotic, the reunion said, “let’s drag this out and bore you for two hours.” Hosted by Ariana Maddix and Andy Cohen (an iconic duo on paper), Season 7’s reunion had a few shady gems but mostly gave filler. Luckily, I suffered through it so you don’t have to. Here’s the recap.

The Final Four Couples

We started with the finalists: Amaya & Bryan (the winners), Nic & Olandria (aka Nicolandria), Huda & Chris (already broken up by finale night), and Iris & Pepe (aka the human melatonin gummies).

Amaya admitted she has separation anxiety from the villa, saying it’s weird not waking up to 20 people anymore. Iris and Pepe just smiled and nodded like they always do — snooze. Nic and Olandria looked stunning and like the influencers they’re destined to be.

Huda got called “mamacita” again (callback to that viral TikTok moment when she told Nic she was a mom and he said “mamacita”), which at least gave me a laugh. Chris claimed he’s “doing sensational.” Okay.

Amaya & Bryan – Cheating Rumors and Weird Energy

Andy jumped straight in: Amaya lives in New York, Bryan in Boston. They claim long distance is “easy” since it’s only a 35-minute flight. She’s even met his mom, and they connected.

But then came the elephant in the room: the cheating video. Andy asked about Bryan being spotted “partying with other girls.” Bryan brushed it off, saying he was paid to host at a bar and used to be a bartender. He called it a lapse in judgment, but Amaya just fake-laughed through it. The vibes? Weird.

Rumors about them unfollowing each other floated around, and honestly I couldn’t tell if they’re still together. Amaya said she wouldn’t be with someone who doesn’t respect her — but the energy was off.

Chris vouched for Bryan, saying, “I ain’t see shit.” Iconic defense.

Iris & Pepe – Exclusive (and Exclusively Boring)

Andy congratulated them on being exclusive. Pepe said they’ve talked about the future but admitted it “looks very different” for them… then backtracked to “not very different.” Iris chimed in but honestly, they put me to sleep.

Andy tried stirring with Iris, asking about her being spotted with TJ in LA. She said they “needed closure” but insisted they’re not together. I remain unconvinced, but also, I don’t care enough to check.

Huda & Chris – The Breakup with Background Vocals

Andy dragged them about their iconic breakup moment — you know, the one with the random singing lady. Huda admitted she thought it was her sister at first because she “can’t see far.” Girl… why would your sister be there??

Chris instantly said seeing Huda again was “weird,” while she said it was fine. He revealed his mom is glad Huda’s out of his life. Period.

Andy pressed Huda on her “wandering eye” comments about Chris. She deflected, saying they “weren’t a good match” instead of answering. Chris clapped back, saying he doesn’t respect her and refuses to be her friend because she had a month to apologize and only tried right before the reunion.

Huda dodged questions about her current dating life, saying she “can’t speak for legal reasons” because it involves Netflix. Translation: she’s clout-chasing with another reality guy. Chris rolled his eyes so hard he saw the back of his brain. Same, Chris.

Nic & Olandria – Fans, Haters, and Closure

Nic admitted there’s been a lot of pressure on him and Olandria to put labels on things. He says they’re “taking it slow,” which is basically code for yes, we’re together, but don’t rush us.

Olandria snapped back at haters calling their relationship fake, saying those people are basically her “second fanbase” because they’re obsessed. She ate with that line.

Nic revealed he hasn’t spoken to Cierra since leaving the villa. He said her shady TikToks ruined any chance of a friendship. Honestly? Fair. Andy wrapped it up by saying it all worked out how it was meant to.

Ace & Chelley – Pre-Planned Couple or Just Pretty Together?

Rumors swirled that Ace and Chelley knew each other before the show and planned to couple up. Ace admitted he slid into her DMs ages ago, but swears it was casual. Fans caught him consistently liking her posts since 2022, but he brushed it off as “I drop fire emojis on everybody.”

They deny pre-planning anything. Ace joked that if they pulled that off, give them $10 million. They’re still exclusive, still cute, and Ace promised a big romantic gesture is coming.

Casa Amor Fallout – Olandria vs. Coco

When Casa girls returned, Coco accused Olandria of being “standoffish.” Olandria said, “I wasn’t going to come in fake — I was dumped and emotional.” Valid.

Things spiraled into Coco vs. Olandria drama over podcasts, liked comments, and the “mean girl” narrative. Even Huda got pulled in, accused of feeding the bullying narrative. It was messy, but also the only time the reunion felt alive.

Amaya & Zak K – The Apology That Wasn’t

Zak K apologized to Amaya for being shady in challenges but insisted Bryan was strategic and not genuine. Amaya accepted his apology but said his energy shifted once she became America’s favorite.

Bryan got accused of “playing for money.” Zak K denied saying it, but then doubled down, basically calling Bryan performative. Amaya brushed it off but didn’t hide the side-eye.

Meanwhile Zac C (the irrelevant one) was technically there too. Blink and you missed him.

Austin & Jaden – The House Party Mess

Austin and Jaden left Casa together, but Jaden accused him of embarrassing her at a house party by lying about dating someone else. She said he made her “look dumb.” He tried to gaslight, saying he didn’t remember, but another Islander confirmed he did respond and lied.

Classic Love Island man behavior.

Pepe & Gracyn – The Postcard Fallout

Remember the “stand on business” challenge? A shady postcard implied Pepe didn’t like Gracyn. Turns out Huda wrote it. Gracyn was hurt, saying everyone reassured her instead of being honest. Huda apologized, but it felt hollow.

Pepe admitted he should’ve been more upfront, and Gracyn said she felt “played.” They hugged it out, but it still stung.

Jeremiah – Pancakes, Love Bombing, and the Ringleader

Jeremiah and Andreina rehashed pancake gate (yes, really). She accused him of love bombing; he said he just moved too fast. Islanders accused him of being possessive, but he brushed it off as jokes.

His dumping was revisited, with unseen footage of Ace pushing for him to go home. Social media called Ace the “ringleader.” He denied it, but Austin and Jeremiah weren’t buying it.

Jeremiah & Belle-a Rumors

Fans clocked Jeremiah and Belle-a in the same Airbnb. Belle-a curved him gracefully, saying she’s choosing herself: “It’s time for Belle-a, not Belle-a + someone else.” Brutal, but iconic.

Hurricane Huda – Bullying Claims and Friendship Fallout

They played a Huda highlight reel of her chaos. She laughed at herself, but then came the heavy part: her claims of being “bullied” in the villa.

Chelley and Olandria confronted her, saying her vague interviews made fans think they bullied her. Olandria said she begged Huda to publicly clarify because the hate turned racist — people literally edited her face onto George Floyd’s body. Huda promised to post but didn’t, which broke their friendship.

Huda apologized, but Chelley said the trust is gone. They agreed to move on but aren’t close anymore.

Heart Rate Challenge – Boundaries Crossed

Chelley called Huda out for licking Ace during the Heart Rate Challenge despite not even liking him. Huda said it was “just the challenge” and consensual, but Chelley felt it crossed friendship boundaries. Most Islanders agreed it went too far.

Closing

By the end, Ariana and Andy tried to wrap it up with warm words about Season 7 being “a journey.” But let’s be real: the reunion was mid

.

The villa gave us chaos. The reunion gave us filler. The only standouts were Hurricane Huda being messy, Amaya/Bryan’s weird energy, and the Nicolandria fanbase clapback. Everything else? Forgettable.

Final Verdict

The reunion was basically a group therapy session filmed on a Bravo set. But hey — at least you didn’t waste two hours like I did.
