Hi, I’m Trinity Barnette—a writer, criminal justice student, researcher, and chronic overthinker with a love for law, psychology, culture, and storytelling that actually says something.

I created Raw Reflections as a place to write honestly about the things that stay on my mind. What started as a deeply personal outlet has grown into a space where I break down trials, explore true crime and human behavior, critique culture and media, share personal essays, and document the messier parts of life, identity, relationships, and motherhood.

My interests rarely fit into one neat category, and neither does this blog. One post might be a heavily researched legal deep dive. The next might be about pop culture, mental health, football, becoming a mother, or something I experienced that I can’t stop thinking about. What connects all of it is curiosity, honesty, and a refusal to stay at the surface.

I write for people who like context, strong opinions, uncomfortable questions, and conversations that go a little deeper than they probably needed to. Whether I’m analyzing a headline or telling my own story, the goal is simple: understand it, question it, and say what I actually think.
